Prompt detection and masking happen locally. AIamigo does not receive or store your original prompt from the extension.
In AIamigo’s cloud
Depending on your plan, detection metadata such as data type, severity and AI site, plus selected settings, can sync. Account, subscription, team and policy data is also processed in the cloud. Team policies and custom terms are downloaded to the extension; original prompt text is not uploaded.
With the AI you choose
The AI provider receives the prompt you approve and send, including any information you allow. Its own terms, settings and data practices still apply.
The separate PDF and text tools on this website use server processing. The extension’s local data flow does not describe those tools.

Which browsers does AIamigo support?
AIamigo can be installed in Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Opera on desktop. The install button selects a store for your browser. On Safari or Firefox it points to the Chrome Web Store; switch to a supported browser to install.
Which AI websites can I use it on?
AIamigo supports ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, DeepSeek and Grok on their websites. Protection applies in the supported browser, not automatically in native apps, mobile apps or API calls.
Does AIamigo send my prompts to its server?
The extension detects and masks prompt text locally. AIamigo does not receive or store the original prompt. When you send, your AI provider receives the text you approved. Detection metadata, selected settings, policies and account and team data can be processed in the cloud depending on the feature and plan.
Can I choose to keep a piece of information?
Yes. Review the findings and choose what to mask or allow within your team’s policy. Allowed information stays in the prompt the AI provider receives. Also review text that is not highlighted, because detection can miss information.
Are the PDF and text web tools local too?
No. This website’s PDF and text tools are separate features that use server processing. The local prompt protection described on this page applies to the browser extension.

Enterprise provides shared policies, custom terms, team management and an organisation dashboard with detection metadata. Features depend on your plan. The extension does not replace your own guidelines, assessment of AI providers or data protection responsibilities.
